Maui Sunset
Evoking the anticipation of visiting an old friend; the Island of Maui, Hawaii welcomes us back
after more years than we had expected since our last trip…the children are older now and with
age, wisdom of travel experiences and a desire for a tropical vacation their excitement for this
trip is one of wonder for this outdoor adventure paradise. Although on vacation I’m secretly
excited for the learning opportunities that will take place for them as individuals and as a family
as we return to the island with fond memories and a new perspective.
Snorkelling in Maui
The Dashing Father and kids were eager to get into the ocean and explore the sea life. We visited Snorkel Bob’s http://www.snorkelbob.com/ where their knowledgeable and friendly staff fitted us with quality gear packaged up in easy to carry mesh bag all for $9US/day! We returned to our beach front villa at The Westin Ka’anapali Ocean Resort Villas http://www.westinkaanapali.com/ and spent the day snorkelling… amazing how quickly the children mastered it with the biggest challenge getting them out of the water to reapply...
